音乐剧《莫里哀》由《摇滚莫扎特》《太阳王》等著名法语音乐剧的创作者德夫·阿提亚（Dove Attia）担任编剧及词曲创作，亦汇集法国一流主创团队，不仅具有丰富的娱乐性，更是用现代的方式对法国文化遗产的致敬。

该剧首演以来迅速展开法国全国巡演，160余场演出一票难求，吸引观众超过50万人次，曾获2024年法国音乐喜剧奖包括最佳音乐剧奖在内的七项大奖，以及同年法国莫里哀戏剧奖最佳音乐剧提名，成为法国音乐剧界当之无愧的又一全新爆款佳作。

音乐剧《莫里哀》讲述了传奇剧作人莫里哀的一生，他本名让·巴蒂斯特·波克兰（Jean Baptiste Poquelin），自幼喜爱戏剧的他选择将一生都奉献给了戏剧和舞台，是法国17世纪古典主义文学最重要的作家、古典主义喜剧之父，法国芭蕾舞喜剧的创始人。

他的代表作《无病呻吟》《伪君子》《悭吝人》《唐·璜》等，淋漓尽致地描绘了当时各色人物，对金钱、婚姻、继承权、阶级关系等问题做了富有启示的思考，获得了法国喜剧作品前所未有的历史地位和经久不衰的审美价值。莫里哀最大的成就是创立了严肃题材喜剧，使得中世纪之后的法国喜剧第一次能够登上文学殿堂，并且流传百世。
