Performance details

卫国国君爱鹤成癖，荒于政务，只因许国国君敬献了两只名贵的彩鹤，便将卫公主姬熙嫁到许国。姬熙出嫁十年后，卫国被狄国侵占吞并。

姬熙闻知故国覆亡，痛不欲生，恳求许王出兵救卫。许王忌惮狄国强悍，唯恐引火烧身，于是拒绝姬熙请求，不肯发兵。姬熙无奈之下，别夫抛子，孤身踏上归程。许王又沿途设卡拦截，百般阻挡姬熙归国之路。姬熙克服重重阻挠，终于抵达卫国边境，却与放弃抵抗准备出逃的胞弟相遇。姬熙唤醒胞弟，激励民众，誓言复国。自己则又踏上征途，去往齐国借兵。

齐国乃是大国，齐国公子无亏与卫国公主姬熙曾于年少之时结下情缘，如今虽时过境迁，但彼此的心灵仍然相通。在齐国的宫殿前，姬熙哭诉了七天七夜，她的爱国情怀不仅打动了齐国的君臣百姓，也传播到诸侯各国。于是，在齐国的率领下，包括许国在内的诸国兵马集结成军，迅即打败了狄兵，光复了卫国。

长途奔波，长期辛劳，姬熙累死在光复后的故国家园，许王父子护送姬熙灵柩归葬许国。姬熙因嫁许穆公，史称许穆夫人。姬熙死后，卫国国祚延绵四百余年。
