在获得这么多世界顶级专业奖项的殊荣后，郎朗仍不忘公益，不忘用音乐的方式向世界传递爱心。郎朗音乐成就还体现在对慈善事业的不懈努力，他于2013年被联合国秘书长指定为联合国和平使者，关注全球教育。他启迪4千万琴童学习钢琴，发展了获得巨大成功的教育项目。他分别在深圳、杭州、上海、三亚创立了“郎朗音乐世界”及“郎朗艺术世界”。2008 年，他在纽约成立了“郎朗国际音乐基金会”，十年来公益足迹遍布全球。2018年，他在中国建立了“北京郎朗艺术基金会”，通过郎朗基金会“灵感的琴键”项目。在国内捐赠了100多所音乐教室，资助成千上万儿童学习音乐。点燃孩子梦想，用音乐传递爱。
